Beauty in Chaos tiene nuevo álbum, mismo que llegará el 31 de Octubre próximo, de la mano de Michael Ciravolo y compañía, más al estilo de Beauty Re-Envisioned (2019), que es la contraparte creativa de Finding Beauty in Chaos (2018), Out Of Chaos Comes…, que es el título de ésta selección de 26 remixes y reinterpretaciones a cargo de gente cómo Roger O’Donnell de The Cure, Paul Wiley de Marilyn Manson, Tyler Bates, John Fryer, éste próximo lanzamiento se contrapone a The Storm Before The Calm (2020), álbum del cuál se promocionaran cómo sencillos los temas The Delicate Balance of All Things, A Kind Cruelty, Almost Pure, y Stranger, siendo el primer anticipo una reversión a cargo de Tim Palmer, Curse Mackey (Pigface, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Evil Mothers), y Simon Hinkler (The Mission), acompañada de un vídeo a cargo de Vicente Cordero / Industrialism Films.

A Kind Cruelty The Sinistrality Mix by Tim Palmer nos deja claro el rol que desempeñan las pasiones humanas en términos lúdicos, pues si bien el placer dirige al deseo, lo cierto es que éste último suele tener objetivos ulteriores que bien pueden desembocar en ir más allá del mero deleite para encontrarse en un acto de sumisión incontrolable.

I had worked with Beauty in Chaos on their last remix album, so I jumped at the opportunity of working on another song this time with Austin resident Curse Mackey. The track hints at an electro punk feel, so my intention was to highlight that, but I also felt that with some surgery it could be a strong single.
Había trabajado con Beauty in Chaos en su último álbum de remezclas, así que aproveché la oportunidad de trabajar en otra canción, ésta vez con Curse Mackey, residente de Austin. La pista insinúa una sensación de electro punk, así que mi intención era resaltar eso, pero también sentí que con un poco de cirugía podría ser un single fuerte.

Early on, my mate Simon Hinkler from The Mission submitted a really cool new guitar solo for the song so I was already off to a good start. As always, Beauty in Chaos gave me complete freedom to experiment with the song and arrangement, so I really enjoyed contributing to the music and adding a sort of cinematic goth quality to the song.
Al principio, mi compañero Simon Hinkler de The Mission presentó un nuevo solo de guitarra realmente genial para la canción, así que ya había tenido un buen comienzo. Como siempre, Beauty in Chaos me dio total libertad para experimentar con la canción y el arreglo, así que disfruté mucho contribuyendo a la música y agregando una especie de calidad cinematográfica gótica a la canción.

Tim Palmer

I really enjoy the process of handing over the keys and seeing where others take songs that I am so close to. Tim is one of my all-time favorite producers and he really makes his mark on this record. I love how he made the arrangement more concise and gave it an electro-cinematic feel. It was an honor to have a guitar solo by The Mission’s Simon Hinkler, as I’ve always loved his playing and he delivered a fantastic “Deliverance” style solo (pun intended!). It works so well in this version and goes on the list of another one of those ‘surreal BIC moments.
Realmente disfruto el proceso de entregar las llaves y ver a dónde otros llevan canciones que me son tan cercanas. Tim es uno de mis productores favoritos de todos los tiempos y realmente deja su huella en este disco. Me encanta cómo hizo el arreglo más conciso y le dio una sensación electro-cinematográfica. Fue un honor tener un solo de guitarra de Simon Hinkler de The Mission, ya que siempre me ha gustado su forma de tocar y entregó un fantástico solo estilo «Deliverance» (¡juego de palabras!). Funciona muy bien en esta versión y va a la lista de otro de esos «momentos surrealistas BIC».

In this time of Covid, even doing a video is challenging. Not to mention many of the artists on the last record live out of the state or even the country. Vicente Cordero (Industrialism Films) felt we could pull off a cool and different video from the original video we had done together. Luckily, Curse had some great footage performing the song from his recent web concert, so we started with building on that, with Tish and I filming some new elements and having some fun with Vicente’s new camera lenses!
En esta época de Covid, incluso hacer un video es un desafío. Sin mencionar que muchos de los artistas del último disco viven fuera del estado o incluso del país. Vicente Cordero (Industrialism Films) sintió que podíamos sacar un video genial y diferente del video original que habíamos hecho juntos. Afortunadamente, Curse tenía un gran metraje interpretando la canción de su reciente concierto web, así que comenzamos construyendo sobre eso, con Tish y yo filmando algunos elementos nuevos y divirtiéndonos con los nuevos lentes de cámara de Vicente.
