Pink Turns Blue está a unos días de iniciar el TAINTED 2022 Tour y, como lo informamos, ésta nueva gira tiene una gran cantidad de motivos por celebrar, y junto con su celebración, al arranque de la misma, estarán lanzando el Tainted Tour 2022 EP, colección de 4 canciones que datan de las sesiones previas al lanzamiento de Tainted, por lo que su estilo es, si bien similar a aquél que conocimos en temas como You Still Mean Too Much To Me, su correspondiente vídeo oficial, Not Even Trying, There Must Be So Much More, y So Why Not Save The World, en su temática encontrarás tópicos netamente actuales que, al momento de ensamblar el álbum motivo de la gira, no parecían tan relevantes, por lo que el primer sencillo de éste nuevo material llega para darte una idea de lo que viene, estando ya disponible en todas las plataformas online.

Not Gonna Take It es la voz que, más allá de rechazar la manipulación global a partir de los micro fascismos y su propaganda, invita a educar a partir del ejemplo, haciendo la diferencia no sólo al hacer lo necesario para que las cosas se sucedan mejor, sino rompiendo la barrera de silencio que impusieron aquellos que pretendieron empoderar a sus peones.

Not Gonna Take It is a song about standing up for oneself and for a better world. Yes, the powerful, the bullies and the rich have many resources to get their way and claim that wrong is right. And yes, we all have our moments where we feel helpless and depressed because there doesn’t seem any way out of this cunning system of lies, propaganda, lobbying and influence. But every now and then, we just get fed up and decide we are not going to take it anymore. We find ways to break free, organize and fight for the things that are worth fighting for. Right now, it seems very difficult, at times impossible, naïve and all too idealistic. But if we give up fighting, we give up living. It is an uphill battle, but our defiance and our courage keep us going.
Not Gonna Take It es una canción sobre sostenerse por uno mismo y por un mundo mejor. Sí, los poderosos, los matones y los ricos tienen muchos recursos para salirse con la suya y afirmar que el mal es el bien. Y sí, todos tenemos nuestros momentos en los que nos sentimos impotentes y deprimidos porque no parece haber salida a este astuto sistema de mentiras, propaganda, cabildeo e influencia. Pero de vez en cuando, simplemente nos cansamos y decidimos que no vamos a soportarlo más. Encontramos formas de liberarnos, organizarnos y luchar por las cosas por las que vale la pena luchar. En este momento, parece muy difícil, a veces imposible, ingenuo y demasiado idealista. Pero si dejamos de luchar, dejamos de vivir. Es una batalla cuesta arriba, pero nuestro desafío y nuestro coraje nos mantienen en marcha.

Desde que Pink Turns Blue presentó el álbum ‘Tainted’, las cosas han cambiado para peor, o se han vuelto más desesperadas, y hemos usado este tiempo para desarrollar algunas canciones de las sesiones de ‘Tainted’, canciones que no llegaron a aparecer en el álbum, ya que aún no estaban listas, digamos en desafío a la tendencia mundial de que los poderosos usan cualquier excusa para hacer cumplir su agenda y defender su acumulación de beneficios, cada vez más personas lo ven y se levantan, por sí mismos y nunca se dan por vencidos para hacer este mundo un poco mejor.
