The Gift es el recuento de tu fortuna, aquélla que significa no posesiones materiales sino la ocasión de hacer algo por el mundo y ayudar a aquéllos en necesidad, pues si bien no tienes todo lo que quieres, cuentas con aquéllo que verdaderamente necesitas y estás en disposición de compartirlo, pues más que moneda o valor de intercambio, lo que ofrendas es la ocasión de poner el conocimiento en práctica, transmitiéndolo a partir del ejemplo.

This song was born after a local walk, in which we discovered a hollow oak that had been used as a litter bin and set on fire. It’s a contemplation about what was lacking in people’s lives that they would feel such an absence of connection to the natural environment that they would treat it with such disregard. My intention was to inspire the awareness of the need to respect and protect our Earth Mother and all living beings.
Esta canción nació después de un paseo local, en el que descubrimos un roble hueco que había sido utilizado como papelera y le habían prendido fuego. Es una contemplación sobre lo que faltaba en la vida de las personas que sentirían tal ausencia de conexión con el entorno natural que lo tratarían con tanta indiferencia. Mi intención era inspirar la conciencia de la necesidad de respetar y proteger a nuestra Madre Tierra y a todos los seres vivos.
