Ernest Moon es la conjunción creativa de Steven Doran y Brian Murphy, una banda que en 2019 se presentara ante nuestra audiencia mientras promocionaban su Ba-jesus’ EP, siendo Satdeenight ready el tema que nos presentaran y, entre una y otra cosa, es en éste 2021 que los tenemos de vuelta con un tema que ellos mismos definen como «una melodía desechable sobre las costumbres de un joven de clase trabajadora de un por ahí en algún momento de un pasado no muy lejano», el cuál estará disponible en plataformas digitales como Apple Music y Spotify el 29 de Abril próximo, mientras que el mismo se encuentra en preventa vía Bandcamp.

Big Wow es el leitmotiv del ente que vive con la esperanza de llegar al Viernes porque, supuestamente, su cuerpo lo sabe, mientras trata de escapar de las prácticas comunes de entretenimiento mientras que, con aparente calma, busca a su media naranja y la ocasión de triunfar en la vida ondeando la bandera del ludismo.

The music in this song is the most obvious stuff a couple of crappy musicians of our generation from Liverpool could produce. In Liverpool there is a tradition for poppy rock’n’rolly guitar music so its natural this kind of tune comes out the other end when you start playing. But there is a diversion from the obvious in the song in that the lyrics are more crafted and worked than one would normally encounter in Pap music. Even if we say so ourselves.
La música de esta canción es lo más obvio que podrían producir un par de músicos de mierda de nuestra generación de Liverpool. En Liverpool hay una tradición para la música de guitarra poppy rock’n’rolly, por lo que es natural que este tipo de melodía salga por el otro lado cuando comienzas a tocar. Pero hay una desviación de lo obvio en la canción en el sentido de que la letra está más elaborada y trabajada de lo que uno normalmente encontraría en la música Pap.
