Rock Bottom es la realización que te da la comprensión a partir de que la resignación no es la respuesta ante el infortunio sino la cuerda que te ata a éste de manera permanente por lo que, cuando las cosas no van bien, es preciso solucionar y corregir para que todo lo malo pase y se vaya, avanzando nosotros en nuestro camino cargando únicamente con el peso del conocimiento que significa lo aprendido tras la experiencia.

‘Rock Bottom’ is a song I wrote when I was in a transitional stage in my life. I felt like everything was crashing in on me and yet that I was OK at the same time. I started to explore within myself why I was OK with something that would have emotionally devastated me in the past and I realized it was because I understood what was happening, stopped fighting it, and let go. I let myself feel horrible, I reveled in the human emotions and then I learned and let go.
‘Rock Bottom’ es una canción que escribí cuando estaba en una etapa de transición en mi vida. Sentí que todo se derrumbaba sobre mí y, sin embargo, estaba bien al mismo tiempo. Empecé a explorar dentro de mí por qué estaba bien con algo que me hubiera devastado emocionalmente en el pasado y me di cuenta de que era porque entendía lo que estaba pasando, dejé de luchar y lo dejé ir. Me permití sentir horrible, me deleité con las emociones humanas y luego aprendí y me dejé llevar.

Unfortunately, sometimes we learn the most about ourselves at rock bottom, and so the most gratifying way to move through it is to be humble and let it inspire you in a positive way if possible.
