Dispel es una banda oriunda de Cleveland, Ohio que en 2019 llegara a nuestra audiencia con Modal Consequence y Temptation a manera de sencillos promocionales para Lore, su álbum debut que ahora es sucedido por Inferno, siendo así que el trío conformado por Ravensea, Sean Gallows, y Scott Dispel, miembro fundador de Face Value y ex baterista de TEXTBEAK, producen una nueva colección de canciones, misma que es masterizada en The Cage Studios de Coventry, UK, por Martin Bowes de Attrition, llegando ahora con el sencillo que sucede en la labor promocional a Journey Into Limbo, teniendo la participación en el piano de Kate Farquharson en un tema que ya circula en Apple Music, Spotify y Bandcamp, mientras que, en Octubre 12, llegará el disco en formatos CD, vinilo y digital.

Glasya’s Heresy Acoustic Version es la advertencia para todos aquellos que se dicen creyentes, pues si bien en la religión encuentran los dogmas que consideran la clave para su salvación, lo cierto es que estos no sirven si no se llevan a la práctica, mientras que la virtud es sólo de aquellos que se entregan con tal pasión que con su ejecución consiguen la excelencia.

Influenced by an equal mix of darkwave beats, Medieval literature, and conceptual rock albums, the music behind Dispel was born. But soon after the completion of our debut album ‘Lore’, the world went on lockdown! So we headed back into the studio to create another conceptual album, but we had to up the ante. A spiderweb-ridden bookshelf held the key – “Dante’s Inferno” in its timeless glory.
Influenciado por una mezcla equitativa de ritmos de onda oscura, literatura medieval y álbumes de rock conceptual, nació la música detrás de Dispel. Pero poco después de la finalización de nuestro álbum debut ‘Lore’, ¡el mundo entró en cuarentena! Así que volvimos al estudio para crear otro álbum conceptual, pero tuvimos que subir la apuesta. Una estantería llena de telarañas contenía la clave: «Dante’s Inferno» en su gloria eterna.

Putting a literary masterpiece to music was no small task, we had to do it justice through attention to detail, utilizing actual texts and adding mythological personalities, herein combining rock music and world literature.
