22 Oceans es el proyecto que Mike Guy realizara inicialmente como solista, más con la constante de enriquecer la experiencia con colaboraciones principalmente vocales, como los sencillos Drifting y Broken dónde Jo Madden da voz a estos temas lanzados en 2021, siguiendo la línea marcada con su debut en 2020, Butterfly Candy EP, haciendo el trabajo en conjunto con Lights That Change, para seguir con el Paradise EP, donde colaboran Rachael Dunn, y el baterista y fundador de Orchestral Manoeuvres In the Dark (OMD), Malcolm Holmes, teniendo ahora un nuevo EP, Home, ya disponible en plataformas de streaming como Apple Music y Spotify, a la venta directamente con el artista en Bandcamp, llegando a nuestra audiencia con el tema homónimo al disco, teniendo ahora letra y voz a cargo de las hermanas Carys y Keeley Hughes.

Home es la nostalgia por aquello que, en apariencia, has perdido, cuando en realidad sólo necesitas dedicarle tiempo a los tuyos para encontrarte de nueva cuenta en ése espacio dónde sin necesidad de apariencias ni posturas, puedes ser tú mismo.

The song ‘Home’ was inspired by ideas about returning to the comfort of your home, which doesn’t necessarily have to be a place, but rather the people who have made a large impact on your life.
La canción ‘Home’ se inspiró en ideas sobre volver a la comodidad de tu hogar, que no necesariamente tiene que ser un lugar, sino las personas que han tenido un gran impacto en tu vida.

The song is rooted in the feeling of happiness you feel when thinking about the memories you’ve made with people you enjoy spending time with. It is a reflection of how we are always connected to those we love, no matter how much time may have passed.
La canción tiene sus raíces en el sentimiento de felicidad que sientes al pensar en los recuerdos que has hecho con las personas con las que disfrutas pasar el tiempo. Es un reflejo de cómo siempre estamos conectados con aquellos a quienes amamos, sin importar cuánto tiempo haya pasado.
