Harry Stafford y Marco Butcher tienen todo listo para tienen listo para el lanzamiento de Bone Architecture, su debut como dupla creativa, programado para el próximo 3 de Septiembre vía Black Lagoon Records, por lo que, tras mostrar There’s Someone tryin’ to get in como carta de presentación de éste trabajo realizado por dos individuos que, pese a nunca haber estado físicamente en el mismo lugar al mismo tiempo, coinciden creativamente en tiempos y espacios para desarrollar un álbum que se encuentra disponible como preventa en Bandcamp y la tienda de Louder than War, mientras que éste nuevo tema llega éste 20 de Agosto a plataformas digitales como Spotify y Apple Music, teniendo la colaboración de Kevin Davy en la trompeta.

Termite City es la expresión de la insoportable necedad del ser, pues si bien está claro que el sentido de la vida y el tiempo mismo es siempre hacia adelante, con los cambios y adaptaciones correspondientes en términos de crecimiento, desarrollo y, de vez en cuando, evolución, lo cierto es que, siendo seres gregarios y de costumbres, en su mayoría malas en cuanto a su perfil tradicional, eventualmente disfrutaremos con total comodidad de aquéllos beneficios derivados de los ajustes realizados a la rutina.

Termite City es la celebración de ésa ciudad sucia que siempre permanece en pie sin importar lo que la gente le arroje. Bombas, disturbios, fanáticos del fútbol escocés, demolición, mala planificación. La gente ama esta ciudad y hará todo lo posible para protegerla y, a pesar de su cinismo, no pueden evitar sentirse orgullosos. Muestren un poco de amor. Una ciudad es una torre de termitas con miles de personas trabajando para abrirse camino en ella. Esta torre de termitas es Manchester; las termitas incluso construyen catedrales en montículos.

Jazz supremo Kevin Davy plays trumpet on this track and it is one of his finest pieces of work ever, IMO, and one of the best collaborations I have had the fortune to put on my record. The cat can blow.
El supremo del jazz, Kevin Davy, toca la trompeta en esta pista y es uno de sus mejores trabajos, en mi opinión, y una de las mejores colaboraciones que he tenido la fortuna de poner en mi registro. El gato sopla.
