Soft Set tiene una apuesta alta para el lanzamiento de su Love and Dancing EP, material que verá la luz el 4 de Septiembre próximo y del cuál nos presentan el sencillo que sucede a Never Die, tema que marcara su debut y con el cuál han logrado una respuesta tal que, junto con la llegada de estos temas a tiendas y plataformas online, el 14 de Agosto también llegará el ‘Never Die / 7 On Up’ 7″, vinilo de edición extra limitada a 100 copias.
7 On Up es la expectativa de la espera por correspondencia, más no necesariamente del tipo postal sino aquella que significa una afirmación que habrá de confirmarse en el siguiente encuentro.
Like our debut single ‘Never Die’, which was released last month, we really wanted this album to have a theme that’s relatable to everyone and we feel that our second single titled “7 on Up” does just that. We wanted the audience to think about adolescent summer nights and that longing for a first kiss, dance, or letter from their crush saying that they feel the same way as you do about them. It’s what eveyone wanted back then right? Both James and I are really proud of this track and it’s actually the first track of the album as we felt that the song really sets the tone for the rest of the EP.

Al igual que nuestro sencillo debut «Never Die», que se lanzó el mes pasado, realmente queríamos que este álbum tuviera un tema con el que todos pudieran identificarse y sentimos que nuestro segundo sencillo titulado «7 on Up» hace precisamente eso. Queríamos que la audiencia pensara en las noches de verano de la adolescencia y ese anhelo por el primer beso, baile o carta de la persona que te gusta diciendo que siente lo mismo que tú por ella. Es lo que todos querían en ese entonces, ¿verdad? Tanto James como yo estamos muy orgullosos de esta canción, y en realidad es la primera del álbum, ya que sentimos que la canción realmente marca el tono para el resto del EP.
