Caulbearers es una banda residente en Manchester que, para su siguiente sencillo promocional, disponible en plataformas como Bandcamp y Apple Music a partir del próximo 29 de Abril, se desmarca de trabajos previos, los cuales tienen cierta tonalidad obscura, siendo el más reciente el tema Over Comes A Cloud, de manera tal que para la labor instrumental cuentan con la participación de Howard Jacobs (808 State, Beth Gibbons, Homelife, Toolshed), Anton Hunter (Beats and Pieces Big Band, Article XI), Stefan Skrimshire, Nicholas Malin, Andrew Mucha, Edward Chilvers, y Ruth Blake, a quien recordarás por temas como I Am y Brave Ships, todos sumando en un trabajo mezclado por Seadna Mcphail (Badly Drawn Boy, Jah Wobble, Everything Everything, I Am Kloot, Happy Mondays) y masterizado por Jim Spencer (New Order, Johnny Marr, Charlatans, Factory Floor) en Eve Mastering, teniendo como resultado una pieza maestra de 8’23» y su correspondiente corte acorde a tiempos de radio comercial, acompañado por una reversión a su Solid Supposed como lado B, con una portada realizada por James Roper.

Burst Through The Borders es la intención que debe acompañar nuestras acciones en estos tiempos tan difíciles, no sólo para la humanidad como entidad general de la población del mundo, o como parte de una comunidad en sí, sino como ente individual y particular que, más allá de existir y ocupar un espacio en el plano de la existencia, aspira a lograr algo mejor que se refleje en su entorno y día a día.

As a species, we have so many difficult challenges to find solutions for, that it can feel overwhelming to know where and how to start. I wanted to write something that had a total faith in the possibility of change, in the ability to transcend the complexities of our modern lives with simplicity. The song imagines this energy of love flooding through the world and transforming the institutions and purposes of our societies and our lives. By its nature, it dismantles the barriers that cause hardship for so many and the borders that separate us from each other. I wanted to write something that included everyone and everything. I was imagining this powerful force, reaching and filling up all these places and the people in them, leaving no one behind.
Como especie, tenemos tantos desafíos difíciles para los que encontrar soluciones, que puede resultar abrumador saber dónde y cómo empezar. Quería escribir algo que tuviera una fe total en la posibilidad de cambio, en la capacidad de trascender las complejidades de nuestra vida moderna con sencillez. La canción imagina esta energía de amor inundando el mundo y transformando las instituciones y propósitos de nuestras sociedades y nuestras vidas. Por su naturaleza, desmantela las barreras que causan dificultades a tantos y las fronteras que nos separan. Quería escribir algo que incluyera a todos y a todo. Estaba imaginando esta fuerza poderosa, alcanzando y llenando todos estos lugares y la gente en ellos, sin dejar a nadie atrás.
