Nick Hudson ha realizado una obra que vale la pena analizar con tiempo y detenimiento, pues no sólo narra una historia en Font of Human Fractures, sino que en K69996ROMA:EP sublima tal creación a manera de reflejo, de manera tal que, luego de presentarnos The Ballad Of K69996 Roma como primer sencillo, ahora toma una colaboración especial de Kianna Blue, quien es también parte de The Academy Of Sun, para presentar un nuevo extracto de éste material, ya disponible en Spotify y Bandcamp.

The Florist es la idea que da pié al trabajo conocido como sacrificio personal, labor mediante la cual el individuo busca acercarse a un objetivo personal de índole particular a partir de la privación o castigo como tributo cuya rendición no es sino mero instrumento de inmolación que habrá de permitirle ser digno receptor de los beneficios atribuidos al objeto que persigue con fervor.

Written as an optimist ode to self-immolation, ‘The Florist’ germinated from a chordal kernel Kianna Blue liberated on the beautiful grand piano of St Mary’s church in Brighton during the vocal sessions for the ‘Font Of Human Fractures’ LP. I watered it daily and added lyrics about a human animal burning down a flower shop in the hope that he might fuse with the beautiful melange within, thusly finding peace. It bloomed into glorious technicolor with the layering of many synths – our Artaudian post-pop song.
