Inca Babies es la banda que en 1982 fundaran Harry Stafford, Bill Marten, Mike Keeble, y Pete Bogg, actualmente integrada por Harry Stafford, Vince Hunt (A Witness, Blue Orchids), y Rob Haynes (The Membranes, Goldblade), misma que en 1983 debutara formalmente acumulando una racha de 4 discos y 6 sencillos en cinco años para separarse en 1988, regresar en 2007 y ganar nuevo interés por parte del público, por lo que Cherry Red editara la recopilación titulada Inca Babies 1983-87: Plutonium, regreso que se vio ensombrecido con la muerte de Bill Marten, integrándose Vince Hunt en el bajo para así iniciar su Death Blues Trilogy, misma que abarca los disco Death Message Blues (2010), Deep Dark Blue (2012), y The Stereo Plan (2014), teniendo para éste 2021 un nuevo álbum, mismo que lleva por título Swamp Street Soul mismo que estará llegando, oficialmente, en formato CD y digital en Noviembre 23, con la preventa del mismo en Bandcamp y la tienda de Louder Than War, mientras que el primer sencillo de éste material se encuentra ya circulando en plataformas digitales como Spotify, Apple Music, y Bandcamp.

Walk In The Park es la metáfora mediante la cual se describe a aquél afortunado que, si bien es consciente de que el mundo es una mierda derivada del caos que significa el hecho de que cada cabeza es un mundo, sabe en qué momento aprovechar los accesos al circo para divertirse con los monos mientras saca el mejor provecho de las circunstancias.

Having had some time away from the Inca Babies (I have released three solo albums, all piano and jazz blues based), it was important that I got back to the rudiments of my original inspiration of Post-punk Guitar Rock. On this album ‘Swamp Street Soul’, I think I have had an invaluable opportunity to achieve this by using all the inspiration I’ve picked up from my solo journey.
Habiendo pasado un tiempo lejos de Inca Babies (he lanzado tres álbumes en solitario, todos basados en piano y jazz blues), era importante que volviera a los rudimentos de mi inspiración original del Post-punk Guitar Rock. En este álbum «Swamp Street Soul», creo que he tenido una oportunidad invaluable para lograrlo utilizando toda la inspiración que he recogido de mi viaje en solitario.

Despite not being able to practice and work with the band, we have made the absolute best time we could in the last two years, snatching rehearsals and recording time. But ultimately the band clicked, and we were able to put together an album that is both a progression and a statement of perpetual quality and undying cool.
A pesar de no poder practicar y trabajar con la banda, hemos hecho el mejor tiempo que pudimos en los últimos dos años, arrebatando ensayos y grabando. Pero finalmente la banda hizo clic, y pudimos armar un álbum que es tanto una progresión como una declaración de calidad perpetua y genial imperecedero.
