The Gorstey Lea Street Choir tiene todo listo para el lanzamiento de …from Prince’s Park to Farsley – Volume I, el próximo 9 de Julio, pues así como tienen 4 nuevas canciones, realizan una suerte de reinvención para 4 canciones del Extended Play One, y para dejar en claro que es un proceso que continúa lo que, inadvertidamente se gestara 35 años antes de finalmente cobrar forma, en 2016, nos presentan el sencillo que sucede a Bluebird, Hollywood… Domino y su correspondiente vídeo promocional, teniendo un nuevo videoclip de corte un poco más intimista que casero, pues nos presenta una serie de dibujos e ilustraciones realizados por Russ, intercalados con imágenes que redondean el concepto de éste tema, disponible ya en Apple Music y Spotify, mientras que el LP se encuentra ya en preventa a través de Bandcamp.

…that Chitty Bang Majik es el viaje por la memoria de aquéllos años en los que soñabas con conocer el mundo y te creías capaz de recorrerlo con tus mejores amigos, mientras que, a la distancia y en la perspectiva de la experiencia, la discusión de los detalles no es sino razón y motivo para reunirse y celebrar la vida.

The song came about last January after a Christmas repeat that we had both watched of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ Michael stated, ‘we love the film and the soundtrack and we started discussing ‘the flying car» and before you know it ‘…that Chitty Bang Magic’ was born.
La canción surgió en enero pasado después de una repetición navideña que ambos habíamos visto de Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Michael dijo, ‘amamos la película y la banda sonora’ y comenzamos a discutir ‘el auto volador’ y antes de que te des cuenta… Chitty Bang Magic había surgido.

This song represents the poppier side of our indie credentials whilst still retaining our core vibe, 12 string guitars chime alongside brass punctuations and Moog synths, with the two vocal Gorstey chant upfront, telling the story of the track. We are really looking forward to folks hearing the rest of the LP in early July when it arrives, the 4 new tracks and the 4 re-imaginations of ‘Extended Play One’ tracks by Choque from Black Star Liner.
Esta canción representa el lado más pop de nuestras credenciales indie y, al mismo tiempo, conserva nuestra vibra central, las guitarras de 12 cuerdas suenan junto con las puntuaciones de metal y los sintetizadores Moog, y los dos Gorstey cantan por adelantado, contando la historia de la pista.
