Arrows To Fire es la conjunción creativa del oriundo de Austin, John Joyo, y el francés Chris Lavigne, un par de empresarios dedicados a la biotecnología que, tras conocerse en un evento del ramo, encontraron que no solo coincidían en gustos y estilos musicales, sino que tenían una idea e intención muy similar en cuanto a lo que buscan expresar en su música, de manera tal que, tras lanzar su álbum debut en 2016, continuar el trabajo con un segundo disco llamado Here We Go, destacarse con el sencillo This is Here, adaptarse a los tiempos que corren, y sobrevivir, hacen mancuerna con un tal Tim Palmer, reconocido por su trabajo con David Bowie’s Tin Machine, The Mission, HIM, U2, Robert Plant, Tears For Fears, Ozzy Osbourne, Goo Goo Dolls, Pearl Jam, para realizar la mezcla de su nuevo sencillo, disponible ya en Spotify y Apple Music, y realizar el anuncio de un inminente nuevo álbum.

A Million Miles Away es el moderno Shangri La que, a la altura de los tiempos que corren, representa en el imaginario colectivo un lugar a donde todos quisiéramos escapar con nadie más que la mejor compañía para recuperar algo de lo que hemos perdido y aprovechar el tiempo que, hoy más que nunca, parece prestado.

This release means a lot to us. 2020 has been a total cluster f@$%. The pandemic has wreaked havoc on the music industry at all levels, and we have all had to work so hard to adapt to a new way of life, and a new way of creating music. ‘A Million Miles Away’ was inspired by moments and struggles during the pandemic. It was written, recorded, mixed and mastered 100% during the pandemic and represents a shift in the way we are approaching music.

For this single, we worked with mix-master Tim Palmer, an industry veteran that has worked with so many of the bands we look up to. Rad. We’re so excited to share a piece of how we spent our pandemic time that we’ve all been forced to endure.
