El Rock and Roll se construye a partir de hitos, mitos y, en ocasiones, tragedias que son superadas gracias al poder curativo de la música, siendo estas algunas de las razones por las cuales el pop ya ganó pero, afortunadamente, nos quedan las historias para transmitirlas con la esperanza de que las nuevas generaciones aprendan algo de todo esto y, al final, podamos lograr el cambio que tanto esperamos.

El icónico concierto de los Rolling Stones en Hyde Park llega a Film & Arts

Film & Arts revive el mítico show de la banda en el famoso parque londinense en donde medio millón de personas homenajearon al grupo de rock del momento. Viernes 21 de julio a las 19 horas.

El 3 de julio de 1969 Brian Jones, guitarrista y miembro fundador de The Rolling Stones, fue encontrado muerto en una piscina. Dos días después, la famosa banda de rock rendía homenaje a Jones en un concierto gratuito en Hyde Park donde se reunieron más de medio millón de personas. Film & Arts revive este icónico evento el viernes 21 de julio a las 19 horas.

El documental “Stones in the Park” relata en 52 minutos uno de los conciertos más importantes de 1969. Se trató de «un gran acontecimiento en la historia social inglesa», aseguró TheGuardian. Seis productores internacionales, seis equipos de cámaras y un equipo de más de 50 técnicos registraron más que un simple show de música: desde el acampe de los fanáticos en bolsas de dormir hasta la noche final.
