Onceweresixty es una banda italiana cuya base de operaciones se encuentra en Villa Albrizzi Marini, a las afueras de Venecia, cuya formación es integrada por Marco Lorenzoni (guitarras, voces, teclados) y Luca Sella (baterías, guitarra, voces), quienes empezaran a colaborar de manera conjunta en 2001 gracias a MR60, su vieja banda, debiendo el origen de la banda al fantasma de un beatnik ciclista que habita un teclado de juguete descompuesto, ahora complementados por Enrico Grando (teclados, saxofón), quien se uniera a la banda en 2021 tras el lanzamiento de su anterior trabajo, The Flood, pasando los últimos tres años dando forma al doble EP Loco Sunset Boulevard / Ghetto Blast Noise Machine que estará disponible el próximo Marzo 22 en plataformas digitales, incluyendo Spotify, Apple Music y Bandcamp a través de Uglydog Records, junto con Beautiful Losers y PrettyOK Records..

Don’t Get Stuck es el recordatorio de que, si bien el pasado tiene su importancia y peso en quienes somos, justamente es algo que ya fue por lo que, de la experiencia hemos de reconocer y aceptar cualquier error que pudiéramos cometer para evitarlo en el presente y así hacer que las cosas se sucedan mejor a partir del ejemplo y no del recordatorio.

(About the band’s origin) Sometimes he takes control of our minds and makes us play strange weird songs.

Immediately upon entering Texas from Las Vegas, drunk on tequila, we lost our way, the desert all around us and not a drop of water. Desperate, we recited a few passages from the Bible by heart, inventing what we didn’t remember. It was at that moment that MR60 came to our rescue. He hosted us on his ranch, quenched our thirst and gave us bags of top quality tobacco. There we found everything we needed: out of tune guitars, out of tune tuners, Paleolithic barrel organs, a Stradivarius and a buffalo skull… We never left…

Well actually, we did leave, somehow adult life took us one by one into everyday office routines and familiar responsibilities with bills to pay and so on.

(Sobre el origen de la banda) A veces toma el control de nuestras mentes y nos hace tocar canciones raras y raras.

Inmediatamente después de entrar a Texas desde Las Vegas, borrachos de tequila, nos perdimos, el desierto a nuestro alrededor y ni una gota de agua. Desesperados, recitamos de memoria algunos pasajes de la Biblia, inventando lo que no recordábamos. Fue en ese momento que MR60 vino a rescatarnos. Nos recibió en su rancho, sació nuestra sed y nos regaló bolsas de tabaco de primera calidad. Allí encontramos todo lo que necesitábamos: guitarras desafinadas, afinadores desafinados, organillos paleolíticos, un Stradivarius y una calavera de búfalo… Nunca salimos…

Bueno, en realidad nos fuimos, de alguna manera la vida adulta nos llevó uno por uno a las rutinas cotidianas de la oficina y a las responsabilidades familiares con las facturas que pagar, etc.
