Kinky tiene en puerta durante el mes de Mayo la segunda parte de su gira por territorio estadounidense que del día 1 al 23 , los llevará a recorrer diversas localidades a la par de desplegar una enorme promoción con motivo de su MTV Unplugged.

Soun Tha Mi Primer Amor tiene en su versión MTV Unplugged un corte más que romántico sin llegar a ser meloso, toma un sentido más profundo que bien pudiese servir como música de fondo mientras respiras y tomas el valor que se necesita para decir “¿Quiubo?”.

Before embarking on the second-leg of their U.S. tour, Kinky is releasing the second single off their acclaimed MTV Unplugged album, “Soun Tha Mi Primer Amor.”  A departure from the original version off their debut album, the new single is a completely new stripped-down and sultry take on the classic, fan-favorite. After closing the first leg of their U.S. tour with a sold-out concert in Los Angeles, Kinky has announced new dates. Fans on both ends of the country now have a chance to catch Kinky’s electric live performance, of which the OC Weekly recently declared, “The onslaught of dance beats, slippery guitar and Cerezo’s multi-instrumental acumen was stunning.”

Kinky’s MTV Unplugged album debuted #1 on iTunes. The first single, ‘”A Donde Van Los Muertos?” featuring Carla Morrison debuted #1 in the U.S. and Mexico and was featured as a ‘Top Tune’ on KCRW the week of its release.

Hosted by Diego Luna, Kinky’s MTV Unplugged special features a superstar line-up of guests and new versions of their classic hits. Collaborations include “Negro Día” with La Mala Rodríguez, “Bien Pedo, Bien Loco” with Banda Los Recoditos, and “Para Poder Llegar a Ti” with Voz de Mando and Beto Zapata (Grupo Pesado) amongst other tracks.

Kinky originally formed in the culturally rich scene of Monterrey, Mexico. More than 15 years ago, Kinky submitted a demo to the LAMC, where they ended up winning the conference’s prestigious “LAMC Discovery Contest.” The band has received multiple Latin Grammy and Grammy nominations for their unique and innovative blend of electronic and alternative rock.

Since their first shows, Kinky have earned a reputation for their captivating live shows and have established themselves as global touring artists.
