A unos días de la celebración del Hell and Heaven Metal Fest, el grupo de orígen noruego, Carpathian Forest , ha determinado cancelar su participación en dicho evento debido a cuestiones contractuales.

We are very sorry to have to announce that we will not be appearing at the Hell and Heaven Festival this weekend. This is a contractual matter and has nothing to do with the problems that the festival is having with the local authorities. We know many of our fans will be disappointed and we are also very disappointed not to be able to play, as it’s something we have been looking forward to very much. We will do all we can to try and make it up to you, hopefully along with a South American tour at the same time in the future.

Lamentamos mucho tener que anunciar que no estaremos en el Hell and Heaven Festival este fin de semana. Este es un asunto contractual y no tiene nada que ver con los problemas que el festival está teniendo con las autoridades locales. Sabemos que muchos de nuestros fans se sentirán decepcionados y también estamos muy decepcionados de no poder tocar, ya que es algo que hemos esperado mucho. Vamos a hacer todo lo posible para retribuirles, esperamos que junto con una gira por América del Sur, de manera simultánea en el futuro.

Al momento de elaborar esta nota, el Festival no ha definido de manera oficial cual será la sede donde se realizará el evento.
